2 Weeks until the big 3-5 (11/05/12)

I've never been one to make a huge deal about my age but for some reason, this birthday is different than the others.

I guess turning 35 is not a huge birthday like 40 is but for me, its a turning point in my life. A time to reflect where I've been and where I'm headed. And I'm happy to say that I am so happy where my life is going. I have my wonderful husband and my beautiful little girl. Hopefully soon we will have another addition to our family.

In the last 5 years, so many things have happened. Got married, had a child, lost friendships and gained others, changed jobs and gained so much knowledge along the way. And I am so grateful to have lived the life that I have, both the ups and downs, because it has made me the person that stands before you today.

And yet, there is so much more to accomplish in my life... and I am so excited to see what is in store for me.

On another note... this past weekend was great. With nothing planned, on Friday after the hubby and princess picked me up from the train, we picked up the pictures from Walgreens and then we took the nena to see a movie - Wreck it Ralph. It was such a cute movie and she certainly enjoyed herself.

On Saturday... we didn't do much either. My mom, the monkey and I went to Wal-Mart and then to Red Robin for a late lunch. The monkey and I headed home to wait for the hubby to get home and he made us a wonderful dinner and the three of is just made it a family night.

On Sunday, monkey and I joined my mother at church and then went to lunch at Lazo's Tacos. We were then dropped off at home so we can wait for daddy to get home from watching the game so we can head out to our friend Lisa's house, where we ended the day at.

All in all... it was an unplanned weekend which turned into a great one. I love those types of weekends. Let's see how this upcoming weekend turns out.

*this posting is from Monday, November 5, 2012... it shows up on the 6th since it never posted. LOL!! Another entry to follow for the 6th.
