Election night

And the news are predicting that our current president, Barak Obama, has been reelected. Congratulations to President Obama!!! Four more years to continue to make a difference and move this country forward.

Today, on another note, had been a great day. I woke up early as hell, for it being a day off, and got two loads of laundry done. I had breakfast with the hubby before heading out with him, the princess and my parents to go cast my vote today. Then I have been home going through clothes and collecting clothes to donate to the people in need right now in the state of New York, cleaning up the apartment and even organizing the princesses bedroom and the livingroom.

So you can imagine that I'm beat right now. And even though I'm totally tired, I just can't close my eyes just yet... one because my mind is trying to come down from the race that I've completed today and two, I'm waiting for the President to come out on television and give his acceptance speech.
And I was hoping to see the hubby come home since he went to the gym after work. But of course we haven't heard from the opponent, Mitt Romney, give his concession speech.

Hopefully it won't be a long night for this victory speech... I don't think that I was able to stay awake for the victory speech back in 2008 either since it turned out to be done so late, LOL!!!

I'm here in bed watching the television while all the people that are at McCormick Place waiting for the president to come to the stage. And its a three minutes to eleven now and I don't know how much longer I can stay awake.

Well... congratulations again to the president on attaining 4 more years. Hopefully these next four years will move us forward.
