25 days and counting... :-)

WOW... only 25 days until my 35th birthday! How exciting!

What a beautiful morning we started off this first of the month to...

Picture from the California "L" Stop
Gosh... we sure do live in such a beautiful city!
I guess I am in a great mood this morning... I walked into work saying good morning to everyone that I caught them all off guard with all the energy that I had this morning. LOL!! I love feeling that way in the morning. I don't get those "full of energy" mornings all that often, that when I do, I milk it for all its worth! ;-)

So update on last night - Halloween! OMG... we had such a wonderful time walking around. The princess loved being in her costume! I didn't get a chance to do her makeup since she just wouldn't stay still so that I can dress her and I just wanted to get her outside. I was just so excited for her to enjoy her night. And enjoyed her night she did.

Halloween Bumblebees 2012
Everyone that saw the princess in her bumblebee costume just loved her energy and smile... and of course she got extra candy for being so cute. I guess being a short, little cutie pie in a bumblebee costume gets you a lot of candy! LOL!

And just as we are getting home, I get a text from Karla to let me know that Charlie Brown's The Great Pumpkin is on TV... so I raced inside to make sure that she saw it. So she sat on her grandfather's lap (my dad/her pa) to watch it with him while she had dinner. This little girl is so spoiled!

Last night was a great way to send off the month of October. Too bad there isn't some sort of "holiday" at the end of each month so that you can send off each month in a good way. The only two months that have something great like that is October and December - Halloween and New Years Eve.

So like I mentioned, here we are at the beginning of November... and only 25 days until my birthday! YIKES! I will be 35 years old but that's okay, I don't feel 35 - at times.

Things are starting to look so much better for my little family. Little by little things are falling into place... working on fixing things and getting things in order. I am so grateful on getting things done so that my family gets ahead in life.
I know that when things get screwed up it doesn't take overnight to fix it but little by little you can... and you have to have the patience to do it because it wasn't overnight that you screwed it all up.

And here is something that I shared with some very important people this morning... a reminder that no matter what, things might be bad/ugly/terrible/miserable/whatever but things will get better with time, you just have to be patient and have faith that it will turn around. :-)

  1. Accept the fact that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue!
  2. Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.
  3. Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.
  4. Drive carefully... It's not only cars that can be recalled by their Maker..
  5. If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague
  6. If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
  7. It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
  8. Never buy a car you can't push.
  9. Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time, because then you won't have a leg to stand on.
  10. Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.
  11. Since it's the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.
  12. The second mouse gets the cheese.
  13. When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.
  14. Birthdays are good for you. The more you have, the longer you live.
  15. Some mistakes are too much fun to make only once.
  16. We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.
  17. A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.
  18. Have an awesome day and know that someone has thought about you today.
  19. AND MOST IMPORTANT - Save the earth..... It's the only planet with chocolate! ;-)

It's just 19 little things but those 19 little things are seriously big in their own right. Sometimes it's the little things that people have the most problems with. No matter what,   things will get better in the end. The truth will carry us safely to our shore... just believe in yourself and the situation will get better. Take it one day at a time.

Just like it's said... Rome wasn't built in a day.
So your problems will not be gone nor fixed in a day either.

So I leave this entry on a wonderful note...
